![[The Grassland Attack.png|402]] The Grasslands were an area in the east of the Continent [[Mythoria]] approximately 20 years ago shortly after announcing its plans to become an collection of independent cities. It was attacked by a massive black dragon and thousands were killed overnight. The attack resulted in the cancellation of its plans for independence and the renaming of the area to [[The Ashlands]]. Many of the uncommon races of Sekai found their homes in the grasslands and many are believe to have been wiped from existence entirely during the attack. Some settlements in The Ashlands have began rebuilding but it will take a long time to heal the damage caused by those attacks.
